Take control of your Fire TV
Use the app as a normal remote to control the Fire TV.
Have you sideloaded a web browser or other app that requires a mouse to function? No worries as the app can be used as a virtual mouse / touchpad.
Auto detects your Fire TV or Fire TV Stick for simple setup. The app also has a manual ip address entry feature too.
The Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Edition, and Fire TV Cube are supported.
Android phone or tablet.
This app must also be installed on the Fire TV.

The companion app can be installed directly from the app store on the Fire TV by searching for 'Remote for Fire TV' or you can side load the app via the links below.

Please verify that you have the latest version of the app installed on the Fire TV. Assuming the latest version is installed then a restart of the Fire TV will likely resolve the issue.
Note: The main Fire TV user interface does NOT support a mouse so it must be navigated via the d-pad buttons.
